Has your body changed recently? Chances are, it has. And changes in your body mean changes in your bra size. The truth is that bodies change all the time. It’s so normal for bodies to grow, age, or adjust. And when they go through major changes, it can sometimes be jarring. Weight release or gain, postpartum, surgery, menopause, and more can really transform things. And your bra size isn’t exempt.
That’s why I was so delighted to be back on The Good Stuff with Mary Berg to help two very deserving women with bra makeovers. Both Kristie and Kim have undergone massive changes in their lives and bodies, and bra shopping confusion was just adding too much on their plate. I love supporting folks with bras (and knowledge!) so they can say hurray inside, outside, and underneath.
Here’s one thing I really want you to know: your body, as it is today, deserves support and care. Not 10 years ago or 10 pounds to go. Right now. I’m here to help, and I hope you’re inspired to lovingly support your body after reading how it went for Kristie and Kim! Read on for the styles I shared on the show, plus several styles and tips I didn’t have a chance to get to on air.
Psst! The brands linked here are partners of mine. I’m proud to bring them your way! As always, I share what I think will support you and help you say hurray.

Kristie’s Makeover
Kristie had actually been on The Good Stuff before, just after the birth of her child. Now her baby is 15 months and Kristie is just starting the process of weaning from nursing. This means it’s time for a new bra size! Pregnancy and nursing really change the body, and Kristie’s new shape deserves beautiful support.
To help her, I chose a bra from Understance in 46G which had flexible cups for her fluctuating and slightly uneven busts (so common during and after nursing!) and seamed support for lift. Plus, the flexible wire is ideal for busts that will change, and this wider wire really worked with her bust root and shape.
And, I chose a fun color for her! She was so used to wearing a boring, beige, wire-free bra that giving her a cozy underwire bra that actually fit well, felt great, and looked great had her dancing around and saying hurray.
By the way, in addition to this great style, I also wanted her to have a wire-free option. The one she was wearing was all stretched out and didn’t have enough structure to really support her bust, so I chose a style from Rosa Faia in 48E to add to her bra wardrobe. This sister brand of German company, Anita, is known for its amazing engineering and excellent support. Plus, this style was extra cute on her! It’s a great option for wire-free moments or days, but with reliable support and craftsmanship. Hurray!
In addition to the styles I shared on the show, check out a few other options that Kristie loved below.
Bonus: I wear this bra all the time! It’s a great basic and the subtle details make it luxe, too. And this red color can actually work for some folks as a neutral. Yep! Depending on your skin tone, red under white can blend into the skin and not show through white.

Kim’s Makeover
Kim’s body has really been through a lot of changes! Alongside menopause, which is a massive shift in itself, she also released 150 pounds. At just 5 feet tall, these changes made a very big difference in her breast tissue and bra size. Her bust was now very soft, and slightly uneven (all normal and lovely!) and she was really looking for bras that actually fit and stayed in place, but also gave her the silhouette she desired.
Elila to the rescue! This brand is known for its firm bands and superior support, and this style was no different. The stretch lace really worked with her softer tissue to keep it tucked in, while the wire, seamed cups, and inner sling gave her a lift. This style didn’t “tack” as well as another style in her, but we still loved the look and it fit securely. What I really loved was how Kim radiated confidence in it! She loved the fit and the color, and adored the shape it provided.
We ditched her old, stretched out wire-free bra for some underwire bras, and she told he she didn’t even realize they had underwire. That’s how comfortable bras that fit can really feel! That said, I did want to provide a wireless bra for her, but she needed a size update. I chose a bra by Susa in 38G with full coverage cups and a wide band that kept everything secure, and seamed cups that provided shape and structure. Not to mention, cushioned straps and high quality materials.
Kim was so excited about her bra makeover that she almost flashed Mary, the audience, and I on set! That gave us a chuckle but it’s also a testament to her new found joy and confidence. Take a look at the bras I shared on the air that Kim loved, as well as a few extra that we didn’t get to on air.
