Hey there, Monday!
Listen, I’m so excited about this week’s Motivation Monday post. First, because it’s another episode of Hurray Kimmay TV! Second, because I’m interviewing a wonderful person about her wonderful book. Third, because I’m hosting a GIVEAWAY! ::update 12/9/13 This Giveaway has ended and winners were contacted.::
Carole Amber is a food editor and part of the husband/wife foodie team at ChopSizzlePop. So it came as a surprise to learn that she is a published children’s book author of The Gift of the LadyBug. Upon more investigating, I discovered that Carole’s reason for writing a children’s book was deeply personal and therapeutic: five years ago, she and her husband lost their baby son to Leigh’s Syndrome. I was shocked at this news, but elated to learn that she turned that terrible experience into a beautiful book with a very universal message. Watch the latest episode of Hurray Kimmay TV now to hear Carole’s story, learn how the book is helping others, why she chose a ladybug as her main character, and her tips for getting through life’s crises. I proudly present my interview with Carole Amber:
Here is a sneak peek at the tips that Carole shares for getting through a difficult time in your life. Losing a child is a very specific and horrific experience, but her tips are useful for getting through any of life’s troubles. Watch the video for her explanations of these useful tips!
I hope you enjoyed the interview! I know you’ll enjoy the book. To buy a copy, visit Giftoftheladybug.org or purchase it on Amazon (it makes a great holiday gift!). Or, enter to win your own copy! Carole and I are giving away two signed copies of The Gift of the LadyBug (one to each of two winners) and a ladybug journal and pen set to two lucky Hurray Kimmay readers. It’s easy to enter, and easy to tell your friends! ::update 12/9/13 This Giveaway has ended and winners were contacted.::
