Now with a global audience and international list of clients, it was started in 2014 by Kimmay Caldwell, a bra fitter and compassion-focused educator. Hurray Media is also the creator of the #MoreThanMyNumbers campaign, aiming to encourage women to see their numbers {age, weight, salary, or bra size} as information, not a definition. Hurray Kimmay is a website devoted to helping people say hurray inside, outside, and underneath™. Kimmay creates a safe and friendly environment to discuss topics like undergarment education, learning to love your body, building a business, and more. She has been a bra fitter since January 2005 and blends her extensive knowledge and inviting attitude to say hurray! The company’s latest endeavor, Bra Confidence & Comfort™, uses the unique Comfort Fit System™ approach to help people find a comfortable bra without wasting hours lost in the bra department. In addition, the course promotes self-care/compassion/love by turning the everyday routine of putting on a bra into a ritual.

Who This is For

Hurray Kimmay and Hurray Media seek an organized and driven administrative virtual assistant. This dynamic role reports directly to the company’s owner and is responsible for multiple tasks supporting our newsletter, press and contacts tracking, and customer service. A list of current responsibilities is below. Hurray Media is open to working with all candidates of all genders and backgrounds. All are welcome to apply!

We are looking for someone who can support the mission of Hurray Kimmay and believes everyone deserves comfort and confidence – in their bra and beyond. You have a positive attitude, are a team player, and can jump in and take the initiative! Ultimately we would love a long-term relationship 🙂

Must be comfortable working on topics of an intimate nature like undergarments, menstruation, sexuality, and bodies.

This is a remote position with team members in different time zones, with the main team time zone being Eastern.

However, this is not for you if:

You require close supervision and frequent direction. We need someone who is motivated, completes assignments, and initiates appropriate actions. To be successful in the role, you must be able to use many different software programs. This role is not for you if you are not technically savvy or a fast learner. Or if you are uncomfortable with topics of an intimate nature.

Responsibilities include:
  • Create and schedule the weekly newsletter
  • Create & send Kajabi emails, reminders, & new content as needed
  • Attend team meetings
  • Manage the list of press features/mentions
  • Update the brand/person rolodex
  • Respond to Kajabi’s comments via customer service login
  • Record weekly stats/metrics tracking for:
    • Newsletter
    • Landing page for course
  • Update or create SOPs as needed
  • Manage the Gmail assistant email inbox

Future responsibilities:
We are launching a course this year and expect additional customer support duties once that happens.
This is a dynamic, growing company, and we look forward to additional tasks for you.

The ideal applicant will possess the following:
  • A positive attitude (it’s Hurray Media, after all) and a willingness to show up as their true authentic self
  • A responsible nature (especially but not exclusively when dealing with sensitive materials and company information) and high integrity
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills (you like to proofread and spell check!)
  • Detail and customer-oriented focus, with good multitasking, communication, and organizational ability
  • Working knowledge of team management tools like Asana, Kajabi, and Google Drive tools; and photo editing/graphic creation software like Canva
  • Ability to work independently and in a timely manner when assigned tasks, as well as in a collaborative effort with several remote team members
  • Willingness to problem solve with curiosity and a growth mindset and ask for support when needed.
  • Flexibility and interest in potential growth in role, scope, and duties at the company

Compensation:

Depends on experience and skill set. Please submit your rates when filling out the questionnaire. This is an independent contractor position, so no benefits are provided.

Location & Commitment:

This virtual/remote position starts about 3-5 hours a week with room for growth for the right candidate. We are looking for someone flexible as hours can vary from week to week since some tasks depend on press/media timing. If you learn fast and have availability, this could increase quickly, and we are looking for a long-term relationship.

These tasks will be performed remotely with a weekly one-on-one meeting with the owner and periodic team video call meetings. Candidates should have regular access to quality internet and computer tools. Ideally, the candidate is based in the USA.
